The tool is currently only accessible in Google's iOS App, but it will be available later "this year," according to the company.


Quick delete requires that you are signed in to Search using a Google account. The option can be accessed by clicking on the avatar icon, then selecting "Delete the last 15 minutes".


Users on desktops can automatically delete web and app activity (via Activity Controls) after three, 18, or 36 months. You can also remove all history manually or delete each entry one by one.


Google insists that it does not track the search history of users to personalize the experience, provided the "Web Activity" setting has been enabled.

Some users had difficulty deleting their Google search history on mobile. Now it is much simpler and quicker.
